Ordering Information
Please note that this product is manufactured upon request – from the date of order it may take up to 28 days to be despatched. This is to give us time to source any required components, assemble and then thoroughly test before shipping.
Also, if you supply your own connectors with our customisation service, this can also push back the despatch date as well pending receipt of your connector(s).
If you have moved your cars throttle body from the factory location you must order an extra 1 meter onto the total length of that Wiring Group (150cm minimum).
Introduction
This drop-in kit provides a way to connect multiple sensors (such as pressure and temperature sensors) to our 6A1 Interface for Link ECU – Mitsubishi Legnum / Galant VR-4 adapter board by re-using all the existing MAF wiring. It requires very little modification to the car and is completely reversible.
Once installed, the kit provides support for adding 2 temperature sensors and two 0-5 volt analog sensors for our interface board to use, making it perfect in helping your journey to a more modern aftermarket ECU as painless as crimping on a few pins to your favourite sensors… something we can help with too with our customisation service.
Please read the Wire Length section below for how to choose the correct options.
What’s included
Included in this kit by default are the following parts:
- 1x 7-way plug to interface with the factory MAF connector
- 2x Deutsch DTM 2-way male connectors
- 2x Deutsch DTM 2-way female connectors
- 2x Deutsch DTM 3-way male connectors
- 2x Deutsch DTM 3-way female connectors
- 50 CM of automotive-grade cable for each sensor
All the connectors above come with their respective pins and seals, and all the relevant parts will be professionally crimped together.
As a bonus, the male connectors on this product even connect directly to Link’s 4 Bar MAP sensors and Air Temp sensors without any further crimping required (making installation a breeze).
You can also customise the kit before despatch. We can..
- Tailor the lengths of each Wiring Group to suit your preferences of where your sensors are located
- Wrap the new loom wires in high temperature loom tape
- Professionally crimp on connectors of your choice (that you must post to us in advance)

Wire Length
The sensor wires are grouped into two Wiring Groups:
- Wiring Group 1: Temp Sensor #1 and Analog 0-5V sensor #1
- Wiring Group 2: Temp Sensor #2 and Analog 0-5V sensor #2
These Wiring Groups cable lengths can be adjusted individually. All wire lengths are 50 CM by default (which is fine for the factory throttle body location), adding any extra wire to that group above adds to this 50 CM initial length.
So if you add an extra 50 CM to a wiring group, the wire length will be 100 CM.
This 50 CM defaults are adequate for most cars where the throttle body hasn’t been moved, the temp sensor is installed in the plastic elbow and the MAP sensor mounted to the firewall.
If you have relocated your throttle body (for a single turbo conversion for example), or if you want to use another sensor in a different location, you will need to measure this and update the quantity of wire accordingly.
Recommended lengths:
- For factory throttle location and the temperature sensor being installed in the plastic elbow, that wiring group can remain default (50 CM in total)
- For inverted throttle location (throttle body on the other side of the intake plenum), add another 100 CM (giving 150 CM in total)
- For oil pressure / temperature sensor monitoring with something like a Bosch liquid pressure and temperature sensor, add another 250 CM (giving 300 CM in total)
